Scammed? Suspicious?
We’ll point you to the right place.
The Consumer Resource Center helps our community recognize fraud, protect themselves from scams, and report to the right agency, in English and Korean.
If money was just sent or your accounts are at risk, contact your bank first. Then report.

Three rules that stop most scams
If you remember nothing else from this site, remember these.
- Slow down
Scammers create urgency on purpose. A real company or government agency gives you time to think and to talk to someone you trust.
- Gift cards mean scam
No government agency or legitimate business ever demands payment by gift card, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency. That request is the scam.
- Verify it yourself
Hang up and call back on an official number you looked up yourself. Type website addresses by hand instead of clicking links in messages.
Report fraud in three steps
- Tell us what happened
Use our guided questions. No personal information is needed.
- Get matched to the right agency
We explain which agency handles your case and what to expect after you file.
- File your report
Go straight to the official government site and file with confidence.
